Who is the website intended for?
The Prevoz.org website is intended for anyone who wants to share or find transportation. It allows hitchhikers (ride seekers) and drivers (ride providers) to prearrange transportation.
Ride Providers
Ride providers are individuals who already have their own transportation but would like to take someone else along for various reasons.
Ride Seekers
Ride seekers are individuals looking for transportation to a specific destination. Instead of traditional hitchhiking (standing in the cold and hoping for the mercy of drivers), they can use Prevoz.org to specify their desired destination, provide contact information, and wait for someone who can assist them.
Practical Example
Nina would like to return home to Ajdovščina from her student dorm in Ljubljana for the weekend, but she doesn't have her own car. On Prevoz.org, she enters Ljubljana as the starting point and Ajdovščina as the destination, then confirms her choice. Various ride providers traveling on the same route are displayed. Miha, who has his own car and is also going from Ljubljana to Ajdovščina over the weekend, doesn't want to travel alone because he finds the journey boring, so he added the route on Prevoz.org. Nina chooses the transportation offered by Miha, calls him, and they arrange to travel together to their destination. Nina and Miha share the transportation costs, make a more eco-friendly choice, and have an interesting journey.

Required Entry of Personal Data
Ride providers are required to enter personal data to ensure compliance with the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. If you conduct business and offer transportation for purposes other than cost-sharing, you need to have a registered business. Details are described in the terms of use.
Deleting Rides and Accounts
Logged-in users can delete their rides directly from the ride itself. You can delete your account here. We first deactivate the account, and after 30 days, we delete all data, which cannot be recovered. During the 30-day period, you can reactivate your account by logging in again.
How Does Rating of Ride Providers Work?
Rating of ride providers is intended for frequent users of the site who want to make notes about providers they frequently travel with. In cases with many providers, this will help users find their favorite providers more easily. You can find the link for rating in the "My Rides" tab. When a user receives a significant number of ratings, an aggregated summary of ratings will appear on their transports.
Verified Phone Numbers
We encourage ride providers to verify their phone numbers with an SMS code to avoid errors when typing phone numbers.
Search
Searching for locations returns the searched location and rides to locations within a 30 km radius of the searched location.
Ride Providers with Registered Activity (Shuttles)
Users with registered activity must complete information about the company they drive for in their profile. They must also issue an invoice to passengers at the end of the journey. If you notice any providers violating our rules and evidently engaging in such activity, please provide us with their phone number so that we can ask them to complete their information.
Insurance
If you cause a traffic accident and do not have liability insurance for passengers in your vehicle, you may encounter difficulties.
If the perpetrator is a third party (driver of another vehicle), the damage is covered by mandatory motor liability insurance.
If you are the perpetrator yourself, passengers can assert claims against you in a civil lawsuit. Passengers cannot waive their claims against the driver in advance but can do so after the accident.
Safety
Seekers. If you notice that the driver is clearly intoxicated, do not, under any circumstances, get into the vehicle. If the transportation provider seems suspicious to you in any other way, use alternative transportation and notify us via email.
Providers. If you, as a driver, notice a visibly intoxicated passenger, do not allow them into the vehicle. If the seeker appears suspicious in any other way, direct them to alternative transportation.
