The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform individuals about our practices of collecting, using, and disclosing information that you may provide through this website or our mobile applications (iOS and Android) referred to as "platforms."
The privacy policy (together with our terms of use and cookie policy) sets out the basis on which all data collected or provided by you will be processed. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how it will be treated.
2. What Types of Information We Collect and for How Long
2.1 Information You Provide to Us.When using our platform, filling in data on platforms (such as registration forms), entering any of our contests, promotions, and surveys, communicating via phone or email, or other methods of communication, and reporting issues with our platforms, you may provide us with information, including information that identifies you (personal data).
Information you provide may include:
Mandatory information required for registration for the services we offer on our platforms or to access the services we provide, including your name, last name, address, email address, mobile phone number, and password. All of these fields are mandatory. If the required information is not provided, Prevoz.org will not be able to provide the services offered on our platforms. Consequently, you will not be able to register with a user account on our platforms or use all of the platform's features.
Other information you may provide:
(a) Details of your vehicles;
(b) Records of all bookings you have made or travel-related ads you have submitted through our platforms;
(c) Details of your visits to our platforms and the resources you access;
(d) Your responses to any surveys or questionnaires, such as travel reviews you have shared with members of our community. Such information may be used for analytics and understanding users;
(e) Information required from you when reporting issues on our platforms or services, such as the purpose of your support request;
(f) Location data after you have given consent for the collection and processing of this data;
2.2. Data We Collect Automatically(a) If you register via a social media account, Prevoz.org will access certain personal data (e.g., name, last name, picture, email, etc.) from your profile in accordance with the terms of those social media platforms.
(b) In connection with each of your visits to our platforms, we may, in accordance with applicable laws and as necessary with your consent, collect information about the devices you use and the networks you are connected to when using our services. This may include the following data: your IP address, login data, browser type and version, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, advertising identifier, data about your visit, including the URL clickstream to, through, and from our platform, products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, interaction with the page, and any phone number used to call our customer service. We collect this data using various technologies, including cookies (for more information, see our cookie notice).
(c) We also collect aggregated data about your activity on our platform (e.g., the number of rides offered, locations for rides, recent rides, etc.). Such information may be displayed in your public profile on our platform.
(d) Integration with a third party, TRIGLAV DRAJV
You can connect to the TRIGLAV DRAJV application. In this case, we exchange data on the current cumulative rating of your rides, the number of kilometers driven with the DRAJV app, the number of recorded DRAJV rides, and the date of the last DRAJV ride. This data can be shared from the DRAJV app to the mobile or web app of Prevoz.org, with the aim of allowing both ride seekers and providers to recognize you as a safe driver. The decision to share this data is entirely yours, which you confirm by clicking the button to connect the DRAJV app with Prevoz.org. If you have not recorded any DRAJV rides in the last four weeks, we will not display the data on the Prevoz.org platform.
To link TRIGLAV DRAJV and PREVOZ.org, email and verification codes are used for verification purposes.
2.3. Data StorageExcept for the categories of personal data listed in sections 2.3(a) and 2.3(b), your personal data will be retained for the duration of our relationship with you and will not be used beyond that:
- Data regarding advertised journeys are stored for six (6) months from the end of the month in which the travel date was posted.
(a) The following categories of personal data may be stored for various periods: All user-generated content (e.g., comments and reviews) becomes anonymous but remains available on our platforms in anonymized form.
(b) In case your account is suspended, blocked, or deleted, we may retain your data internally for a period of up to 24 months.
3. Who Are the Recipients of Your Data and for What Purposes?
When you use our services, some of your data is shared with members of our communities—either in your public profile or during the booking process (e.g., we always provide a phone number). For mobile platforms, no registration is required.
We also closely collaborate with third parties who may be recipients of your personal data, such as:
(a) Our business partners who are social media platforms and can offer you linking services, such as linking your profile data, social media logins from their social media platforms to our platforms;
(b) Our subcontractors in technical, payment, and identity verification services, as well as analytics providers.
3.1 We share your data with these third parties only in cases:(a) Where necessary to involve a third-party service provider to facilitate or expand our services;
(b) As part of the booking process and to provide the requested services, information such as your name, photo, mobile phone number, and/or email address may be displayed on platforms and/or transmitted to passengers (if you are a driver) or drivers (if you are a passenger);
(c) We use analytics and search providers to improve and optimize our platforms;
(d) Parts of our platforms (including rides you have posted) may be distributed for display on our business partners' websites through APIs or widgets. In such cases, some information from your public profile may be displayed on these websites;
(e) Prevoz.org may also disclose your data if required by law or in good faith that such access, storage, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to claims filed against Prevoz.org, to comply with legal proceedings, and to enforce any consent with our users, such as our terms of use and privacy policy, in emergencies, including public health hazards, death, or bodily harm to a person during an investigation, or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Prevoz.org, its members, or others;
(f) In the event that we sell or purchase any business or assets, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
(g) If Prevoz.org or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, one of the transferred assets will be our members' personal data.
We want to inform you that if you choose to share your data with us through linking services from our business partners, including personal data, any privacy rules and/or notices from our business partners may also apply to you, along with the privacy notice. We do not control the collection and/or processing of your information on their platforms.
4. Is Your Data Transferred?
In principle, personal data we hold about you is stored in the European Union ("EU"). However, since some of our service providers have their headquarters in countries outside the European Union ("third countries"), some of your data may also be transferred to third countries. This may include third countries for which the European Commission has not made a decision that such a third country provides an adequate level of protection (e.g., the United States). In this case, we ensure that the transfer is carried out in accordance with applicable law and that appropriate safeguards are put in place (especially standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission) to ensure an adequate level of protection of individuals' privacy and fundamental rights.
